Net Zero Home: Converted Classroom

The net zero house was a unique project that I had the opportunity to be apart of at Clover Park Technical College. This one story home was custom built on campus to be carbon neutral and self sustainable. Designing this space was a challenge because of the oddly placed door in the bathroom, which lead under the house for mechanical purposes. 
While a model home, this space is also used as a functioning classroom for the carpentry students. My floorplan consists of space for class activities to happen, a functioning storage room, finished bathroom, and a new office for the instructor. Herman Miller products were used and specified for this project, along with custom built cabinetry from Dragon Fire Tools.
